MEDICAL
If your child requires any prescribed medication whilst in school please come into the Aspire to complete a Parental Consent Form, giving us permission to administer medicine and return to us with the medication. All medication must be prescribed by a doctor, dentist or pharmacist and must be in the original packing with the dispensing label attached.
Please contact Aspire if your child has any identified medical problems such as
-
epilepsy
-
diabetes
-
cystic fibrosis
-
severe allergies
-
any other medical condition
We can arrange an appointment to see you in school at a convenient time to discuss your child's health and complete a Care Plan, if needed. This will reassure both you and your child should a medical issue arise whilst he/she is in school.
If your child becomes ill during the course of the school day you will be contacted to allow your child to return home.
If your child requires first aid during the school day this will be carried out by a qualified first-aider and recorded in the medical log.
If your child has an accident or illness requiring them to attend hospital, we will always call an ambulance and inform parents/carers immediately. It is essential that contact numbers for students are kept up to date.
